Casey is a native of the Logan, UT area and graduated from USU in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in English (Professional & Technical Writing Emphasis). He has volunteered at Utah Public Radio (UPR) since 2017 where he records a weekly radio show as the station's resident film critic.

Casey edits various professional documents for the TAESE team and processes all authorizations for TAESE staff travel (Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education). When he's not writing or recording with UPR, Casey is usually watching movies, running on the treadmill, or eating pizza with family or friends.
